The coupler is not intended to be removed as the assembly will not be balanced when reassembled. DO NOT REMOVE COUPLERS from the shaft assembly. Doing so voids the warranty, and Skier’s Choice will not replace shafts that have been disassembled. Shafts have to be installed from inside the boat. Removing the fuel tank will be necessary.***
