PCM RP026002E PCM 143-degree thermostat kit for carbureted Ford PCM engines. This thermostat was used on all Ford 302 & 351 PCM engines from the early 1970’s to early 1990’s. Thermostats can fail and should be replaced after an overheat or if the operating temp is questionable. The type of thermostat used is important to overall engine runability so make sure to replace yours with OEM parts only.

• Kit Includes one R026002E Thermostat and one RM0003 Gasket
• PCM ran this 143-degree thermostat from the early 1970’s to the early 1990’s.
• It is ok to replace with a 160 thermostat if desired but note that the engine is tuned to run at a higher temperature.
• Use thread sealant on thermostat housing mounting bolts to help avoid vacuum and water leaks.
• NOT FOR EFI Applications
