The Ahi designed by John Akerman received a complete makeover for 2023. The mission behind the Ahi shape has always been to create an “ocean” style surfboard that delivers true wakesurf performance. The re-design features a fresh new moon tail shape, wide midsection and a full rounded pin nose for a perfect blend of handling and performance. The Ahi’s new outline delivers more speed and drive down the line while channeling water flow off the tips of its tail for optimal release. The Phase Five Ahi Wakesurfer is glassed with our new Flightlite V2 Pro Select layup for ultimate lightweight performance and quad configured FCS Fusion fin plugs.

Flightlite V2 Pro Select is our surf style construction for ultimate performance. It is now our lightest build with a 20% weight reduction. This is a PERFORMANCE build designed to get the most out of the surf shape and provide riders with ultimate feel. The layup schedule features a full Innegra bottom sheet with a carbon stringer along with a full Innegra top sheet with carbon tape reinforcing the tail.
